CHAKRA BLOG INTRO

WELCOME TO MY CHAKRA BLOG.


Let's start with defining what a Chakra is. (An Indian thought). In Sanskrit, the word Chakra refers to a wheel or a disk. They are energy centers in your body that run along the length of your spine.

There are usually considered to be seven chakras in number.

Each Chakra affects different parts of the body, mind, and spirit.


A balanced Chakra is what you will be working towards. An imbalanced Chakra can be either overactive or blocked.


Each Chakra blog will individually help you understand if your Chakra is balanced, overactive, or blocked.


For the physical body, there are foods that can help you find balance. For the mind, there are the Chakra card lessons. For the spirit, there are meditations and yoga practices.

In the Chakra blogs, these (Foods, recipes, meditations, yoga poses, and Chakra cards) will change daily as a challenge or even a simple guide to help you work on each Chakra.


In addition, each blog describes its Chakra in more detail for you.


I usually start with the Root Chakra on Sunday, Sacral Chakra on Monday, so on and so forth moving up the spine daily and starting over with the Root Chakra again the following Sunday.

You can follow me or you can come up with a routine that works better for you.
